As you know, there is no way I could climb Everest, the altitude would put a strain on my heart and my fitness wnd health in that kind of weather is not up to scratch.
However I hope to train over the next 10 maybe 20 years to at least get me up to the top but until then I had the opportunity to visit the bottom of Everest and camp and explore the surroundings.
It was cold, no joke I was freezing but that didn't stop me exploring the mountain, I spent a lot of time thinking and training my brain to keep me warm and sane.
The snowy, rocky and tendentious winds started to pick up as the days were moving forward and all I was thinking was about the safety of the team.
As the storm blew past and a window opportunity came through, I managed to radio the team for a safety brief and all was OK.
As time went by day by day I got the opportunity to discover an amazing place that I thought I could never see.
This is only a short blog as I didn't climb the 8848m mountain, I just explored it's surroundings of quietness and a breathe of fresh air.
Until the next adventure stay tuned to many more travels and exploration dates to follow .......
