Princes Trust 2015 Adventures

Another year, another adventure ........ this time my feet took me to a place in Wales called Oaklands, it was an education centre with a twist of adventurous activities.

I began my journey with a group i had joined it was called Princes Trust and it was a 12 week programme and this blog was about the adventures we had in Wales.

As the adventures began we played a game which helped us with names, let me see if I can remember, of course there was Jason and Debbie our leaders and then there was myself, Kyle and Rowan who came from the same place and then there was the Irish girls Danielle and Serena, Katrina and Cara and Rachael,
I'm slowly getting there, then we have the boys Mark, Tom, James and Macca, I think thats all of them and of course we had our adventure leaders from Oaklands Sam and Nula, so there you go there was a lot of us.

Anyways carrying on with the adventures we explored caves, scrambled up a gorge and climbed Snowdonia, we also bounced our way up a climbing wall and released our weight into absailing.

Team work was a must on this adventure and with us working together we made our way through the 5 days of wildness and scenic routes, oh and the food was ok I guess, I don't really like it myself but I had to eat something to keep my energy going .

Days turned to nights and nights turned to days and eventually it was time to say goodbye to the staff of Oaklands and hello to boring England again.

The adventures didn't stop for us there we carried on to do some amazing stuff for the community and other sources of nature crossed our path.
