First Adventure - Hugh Baird College - Afon Ddu Gorge

Here I will begin to write about my adventures through the outdoor industry by writing about my travels and adding photographs to my blog - this photo was the first of my adventures with Hugh Baird College Outdoor Course

Here I went gorge walking, the weather was dry but cold and the water was knee deep freezing.

The day started off with a safety brief and getting into those tight wetsuits, and eventually we started to scramble up a large water fall which people know it by the elephants bum because you have to crawl through a massive rock shaped like an elephants bum, unsure what the actual gorge is called but i will eventually know further down the line.

It was slippery and wet of course as the day went by, swimming and dunking ourselves in the murky water and the brambles, we also scattered along the edges of the gorge walking up and around rocks, trees and other bits and bobs.

We hit a stage we're we had to climb a massive wall which attached to it was humongous steps and I mean massive steps fit for a giant, cardio work in the legs was a must and in the tight and wet, wetsuit scrambled up to the near top in which there was a giant hole which we could jump into and that was amazing.

The adventures continue on throughout the day and until the next keep following my journeys .........
