Kayaking was on the agenda today and as we all chose our boat and fitted it to our size, we launched ourselves into the mucky, green and wet water of the canal.
The day consisted of learning new skills and it had been a while since I last kayaked so I needed to brush up on my skills.
Going forwards and backwards were pretty easy if the wind was right, then we tried different strokes which was a bit of a task but eventually we accomplished on turning and twisting and even a 360 turn in one stroke was brill.
Lessons turned into games and Craig found a coconut for some reason there were two in the canal, strange I know, but we had fun throwing them and trying not to hit the boats, also a football was getting launched to see who can get there first with the skills that we learned, WOW what a day.
The day ended on a good note and as we scrambled back into the launching bay, another adventure was over for me and the team until the next adventure keep tuned ..........
