Sunny days and brezzy winds, we powered our way up to West Lancashire to sail along the canal in our Kayaks.
Winds were strong and the sun was shining, we got changed and set course for our way up the Canal. Winds were supposed to be 13mph but it definitely wasn't that it was more like 25mph winds and we had to battle through it to reach our destination.
As we fought our way through the winds getting soaked along the way, we were learning different techniques and strokes on how to paddle and turn the kayak. It was hard at first because I felt like I was going to fall in as I was close to the water edge.
Afternoon came and of course food was on the mind, I was still on my diet so had tuna pasta and water with a small treat. We jumped back into our Kayaks and got the football out to have a little play since it was a nice day.
The ball also helped with our technique of turning and speed in a Kayak also it was fun tossing it about especially at Michael.
Day ticked by and we finally made it to the end of our journey, it was time to pack away and as we were back early, we went for a cold drink of juice,Pepsi or even tea, I don't know how Michael drinks that much tea but oh well.
Another journey and adventure over with more to follow keep tuned everyone ..........
