Army Day - Boats, Aircrafts And Vehicles

Army Day ......... Well the sky was blue and the sun was shining, my goodness it was hot but it was a adventure trip to see all the vehicles and aircrafts and boats along with different sites involved.

The day consists on going around taking loads of photos of all the aircrafts and other fun little vehicles 🚗.
It was warm with a temperature of about 27 degrees so I wasn't going to be out long all I wanted to do was cool down, my feelings about jumping in the docks was on my mind.

As the day went by so did the hours, minutes and seconds and I learned about different parts and bits and bobs on what to do if this breaks down and which buttons to press to start it, it was a day of useful knowledge which I enjoyed and couldn't wait to learn more.

The day finally came to an end and it was an amazing and fascinating day which I would be doing again.

Keep following my adventures and tell me about yours .......................

Final Memories Down Adventure Lane

Well what can I say 2 years of outdoor, travel and adventure, we had just met as a group and then our first adventure had begun with Gorge Walking and that's when we had to communicate and become 1 as a team.

This is were we spent 4 days out in the middle of Wales, climbing, walking and getting soaked.
Coasteering was our next little journey along the path of adventure, this was scary because why wouldn't it be, who would want to jump off cliffs into the Irish Sea for a living oh right this was us :)

After our little adventure working in a team, we travelled to Coniston for our first ever 2 night trip together. 2 and 1/2 hours drive down the line and we made it to the site were we canoed along the lake to base camp. Hours, minutes and seconds later we made our beds and cooked some food and played some games.

The over night stay flown by and we were back to reality where assignments were introduced along with one day practical a week. Coasteering was our next adventure and we were all nervous, come on who wouldn't be nervous jumping off cliffs into the Irish Sea.

After adventures climbing, walking  and swooping our way through seas, rivers and lakes also canals, with us falling in along the way.

June 2016 had came around after all the hard work and shenanigan's we had took part  in ;) .

Our tutor for our course Matt had left us to teach the University foundation degree in outdoor and we still had Mark which was a good thing. Nina our sports tutor had left for another job so by the time September came round we had a new tutor for sports and outdoor.

September came and we were year 2's and a group of year 1's joined us, we were all nervous and we went Coasteering again and that's when we met Michael, but the story behind him you wouldn't want to know, lets just say don't try meet your tutor when he comes out the Irish Sea in his speedos.

Next came the sports tutors, we went through 2 tutors and then in October got settled down with a lady called Leanne, OMG I thought I was bad at talking and getting distracted, she was like my double.

We thought to ourselves this is it, a new tutor, a new start but noooooooooo! Leanne had being assigned to the public service guys and we had a new guy starting in January with us his name was John-Paul aka JP, my god he was tall 6ft 5 or 6ft 7 I'm a bit unsure but he's tall, JP was a brilliant tutor to work with even if he was annoying but wouldn't change him for the world.
And of course who can forget about Alex our tutorial tutor in year 1 and Norman in year 2, WOW we have gone through a lot of tutors over two years.

After 2 years of amazing different tutors, the final days drawn in, all we have left is 2 days in Coniston again with our final trip together as a group, this is probably the hardest thing of saying goodbye but future down the line we would meet up as one big group and start our adventures one more time hopefully ...................................

This doesn't change myself blogging on here when I can, it just means that my adventures with Hugh Baird College is over until 2018 and that's when I will be doing the foundation degree in Outdoor Adventure, hopefully Matt and Mark are still happy to put up with me for another 3 years.

Until the next adventure guys stay tuned into Rebekkah's Blog Of Adventures & Travel ..............................................................
