Hothersall Lodge - Outdoor Centre

As my week began at a new university my first travel took me to an outdoor centre in the middle of nowhere based in Lancashire.

As time ticked by I made my way through the centre learning about different experiences within the outdoors.

I learnt different activities and what abilities that the centre has to run there session and also about the million pound toilet that came with a free climbing wall, WOW now that's amazing.

As words became nature I trekked through the fields of Preston and discovered different environments around me.

Den building might sound a bit childish but it is what we did as groups of 4/5 to create a shelter that we could use in the wild, it was fun trying to be a kid again and teaching myself how to build a safe, secure and stable shelter.

Another story and another adventure along my tracks until the next one where my travels kick off with a one night camping trip

Starting My Adventures With UCLAN

I know this isn't much of an adventure as it is a little story on how my adventures will lift off again and take me to new places and different environments.

As the welcome week approached, my nerves started to shake, it was my first time In a massive University
I meet lecturer after lecturer after lecturer to settle me in little and as much as I was nervous they made me feel welcome.

We talked about the different adventures that we will experience over the next year, main one being Plas Y Brenin, a place I have travelled to many of times
There are many things to chat about in my next blog but until then stay connected and keep exploring the world

Terracotta Army

Another trail begins as winter approaches us and I discover my adventures inside and out.

This discovery was the Terracotta Army inside Liverpool World Museum, they had trekked all the way from China to become displayed in a city we call Liverpool.

As I made my way round the expedition with my companion by my side we lured our way into the history of the Army to discover what it was like back then.

As time ticked by and history opened our eyes, we got a glimpse of who the people were and a eye of the dusty coloured statues taking over a magnificent museum.

Useful History Information
The Terrecotta Army is a collection of sculptures depicting the army of Quin Shi Huang, The first Emperor Of China.
It is a form of funerary of art buried with the Emperor in 210 - 209 BC and those who purpose was to protect the Emperor in his after life.

I know my adventures and travels have been not as fun as I'd like them to be but traveling to different places where there inside or out makes me wonder how the world actually works, wether it's Kyacking down rivers or just a simple trip to an expedition, its still an adventure in my eyes as it's history coming to life.

STAY TUNED IN AS I BEGIN MY FIRST YEAR OUT OF THREE IN UNIVERSITY TO DISCOVER THE OUTDOOR PURSUITS THAT WAIT FOR ME ...............................
