A Walk On The Wild Side - Chester Zoo 2018

As 2019 is just days away, the last of my travels was going to be strolling through the wilderness of Chester Zoo.

Adventures are not always up a mountain or riding along the wooded paths but, nature can take you to a place where animals become one of you and you become one of them as you explore and learn about the different backgrounds of the carnivores and herbivores that live among us.

As I made my way through the zoo looking into the different animals that set foot on this earth, I discover different types and different meanings on how they live individual or as a pact.

Travelling and snapping photos of the fascinating creatures that live throughout the zoo is a blessing as I watch them learn not only about themselves but about the humans that are around them.

Facts of the day:

Orangatanges are 99.9 of percent human
Penguins don't have knees.

My adventures are not always based around traveling afar or near, it may only be among the other things that you discover the true meaning of yourself.

Keep updated as my 2019 Adventures may become a bit more exotic and interesting as I train myself for the 2 big adventures of a lifetime in 2020.

PYB - WEEK 2 - CLIMBING WEEK

Into nature we must go and following the footsteps that are placed in front of us we must guide our way through into the outdoors.

Back to Capel Curig at the PYB site for a new pathway into learning and discovering an activity called Climbing.

Day one was back to basics learning how to tye a figure of 8 with a stopper knot and bouldering different routes along the walls of the centre.
Day two took me to a new place I had never been before a little crag called Union Rock in Llanberis top ropping exercise and placing the equipment and embedding them into the rock.

After creating rock with equipment I learnt about the history around the Crag and went onto the Dinorwig Quarry - Siding where I embarked on climbing the slate of the mines left behind by the blast of the mountains.

Day three and it already felt like the week was going fast and alot more information imput came into this day as I learnt different skills such tying into the nuts, bolts and carribeeners under the canopy of PYB.
Upwards and onwards into the afternoon where nature took us further into the forests and crags of Betws Y Coed- Cyrau were I would use my skills in the real world.

Day four and the week was nearly to an end which is always a shame as I lived to live in the nature and become one with the world of Wales.

Weather was forcing us indoors but I managed to escape into the wilderness of Llanberis developing my techniques up the Spotty Crag, learning how to lower ourselves down with the use of equipment we had been provided.

Tryfan Bach was our next activity and our final day had arrived and this was the 40mph wind day which took us further into Lead Climbing and Absailing developing my skills and techniques further into reality and it became real when I had to climb the rock face.

My adventures still follow me wherever I go and my travels start to become real as I develop new skills along the way and among other things the reality of the outdoors becomes one of me .....
