A Night At The Museum Moment

Well a short but interesting blog this shall be .... Saturday night and myself and another leader from Scouts were due to spend the night in the World Liverpool Museum with our Cub troop so the adventure begins

5:15 start and the schedule was about to begin

1) Fish Making

The cubs were in charge of making some flying fish to hang up from the ceiling when they got home

2) Planetarium Time (Watching The Stars)

Time for a little bit of star gazing and finding out facts about the earth and many planets and moons around us

FACT: Did you know that there is water on Mars

Anyways carrying on with the agenda we had dinner next and then onto our final activities for the evening

3) Walking With Dinosaurs

With them all fed and watered it was time to take a step back into history and learn about what dinosaurs were really like back then

And yes this my pet dinosaur Rexy

From dinosaurs to the final event of the night

4) THE MOVIE

# can anyone guess which movie we watched

Let's have an educated guess, how about doing a night at the museum to have the movie as "Night At The Museum"

Anyways with bedtime set to 11.30pm and myself and the other leader not getting much sleep ourselves as it was 2am by time it went all quiet and we were both awake by 5am

The day went quick and the night went slow but I was fascinated how interesting the museum is to explore at night

Back To University ...... 2nd Year ....... Here We Go

Well that 5 months dragged on a bit but I got some time to explore Wales and get some research into a little bit of Urban Exploration ..........

# check out the blog post about my Urban Exploration  project

Anyways back to reality was always going to happen however this year I was a 2nd Grader

#2ndyearatuniveristy

#always time for a selfie

Time had ticked by and I was on the verge of creating the best way in my brain to form a plan of action to help me study better ..... did it work, well the answer to that would be NO

Many changes were to come and having AUTISM & DYSLEXIA was I ready for them to build into my safe space ..... who am I kidding I probably will never be ready but here it goes

From 1 and 1/2 days a week, it got split into 3 1/2 days a week which meant more time at university which to me might be a good thing as I can go on to ask questions to help with my modules

Then came the modules I would be studying this year ....... who would of thought that - adventure sport coaching, group leadership and reflective practice and to put the cherry on top applied research and professional skills

What happened to the good old days of just walking up a mountain, kayaking down a rapid or climbing a crag ...... NOPE there is apparently more to the Outdoors that we are yet to learn, well I'm yet to and going to learn myself

From statistics to numbers to research and many more theories and methods to put the icing on the cake, let's just say I'm in for a bit of a rollercoaster this year .....

Dyslexia ...... What even is it? Here we have a load of books that is suggested I read and there is a few more I need to get to help me achieve the best grade I can get in my 2nd year at University studying BA Hons Outdoor Adventure Leadership

My word count into my vocabulary will be higher but with being Autistic can I take on this much information ...... The answer NO

Here's to nearly 8 months of reading and hopefully getting the idea and maybe a bit of knowledge into how I am keep the percentage grade of a 1st going hopefully .......

Apart from the theoretical side of things I'm looking forward to kicking back some practical stuff this year so keep checking out and see what fun I will have this year .......
