Afon Conwy - Canoing

Bright and early since we were off to Conwy to do some canoeing skills and other bits and bobs to help towards assignments.

The day started off a bit dull with rain swooping into our faces and our boats rocking side to side.

Gradually the day went by and the weather picked up a bit and out came the sunshine. Using our different skills we paddled up towards some island covered in trees, bushes and creepy crawlies oh what a pleasant stop it was to use the bathroom.

As we set up base to eat some lunch, we eventually left the island of mystery and headed back towards the castle and bridge, it was a pleasent trip back as the wind was behind us and drifting us back to shore
