Microsoft Office HQ UK - 2017

Well were to start how about the 4 1/2 hour drive down to the Microsoft HQ, sign after sign passing by as I made my way to Reading spending the night in a Premiere Inn.

We finally arrived after stopping for food and a stretch for our legs........ The night consisted of a relaxing evening followed by a three course meal. I tried something new it was called camembert or something like that which was a warm cheese with bread rolls, it wasn't the best thing I've ever tried but it was something new, next was a garden burger, doesn't sound edible or amazing but that's the joys of not eating meat and after eating all that I finished of with a berry meringue sundae which was delicious ........
Sleep was well needed and as the day turned to night I went to bed for a well deserved rest ..........
Morning had arised and breakfast was on the agenda to start my busy day and the visit to the Microsoft HQ. Finishing off this lets talk about the trip its self.

Microsoft HQ wow its huge 5 buildings spread across 1/4 of a mile and as high as three floors throughout the whole building, I would get lost if I worked there. Our guided tour guide was Sean, he was an apprentice at Microsoft.

After a quick introduction to himself and his other team buddy's also a presentation by Mark a CEO of Microsoft & a Governor at Hugh Baird College, I made my way with the group and the two John's through the 5 buildings.

Building two was were I started as that's were we started at the beginning, walking through to building 3,4,5 was absolute amazing, cafe's, restaurants and loads of coffee's and tea machines along the journey, oh did I forget to mention they have their own onsite doctor, therapy room and massage area, WOW well I didn't expect that.

As the day went by things happened and we traveled to the Xbox section, the library, and finally the HOLOLENSE section, yes I got to test the Hololense, out of our group we were the first people from the North West to try the Hololense and what can I say, it was AMAZING, FANTASTIC and AWESOME, three words to explain it wasn't just the start of it, I got to test it and place holograms around the room WOOP WOOP ..........

Food was on the agenda next, usual stuff sandwiches, crisp and fruit........

My next plan was we had to create a new piece of technology that would benefit the world. I got paired up with Nathan and we created the MACRO CHAIR, it had heated senses to control body temperatures, back pain no problem the MACRO CHAIR has a sensor to detect back pain. Drinks getting cold or warm, the MACRO CHAIR has that built in, it will warm up your drink or keep your drink cold, by using your smart phone you can do all this via an app.

It's final insulation to this magnificent chair was it had surround sound speakers and a hand remote that you control via your hand and has a voice activation which it will find the movie/series that your looking for, if this hasn't amazed you then stick with your simple boring chair. For £900 it can be yours .........

The day passed and we got to do many other unbelievable things and finally we all piled in the van and 5 1/2 hours later we arrived home after an amazing 2 days .............

ANOTHER TRIP TICKED OFF MY LIST
